Battles, “Atlas” from Mirrored… my friend Jess turned me on to them. Hate to be contrarian but I’m kinda glad I found them through a friend rather than through Pitchfork. Since I dove into the record collection and turntable I’ve been out of the loop on modern music, and to my surprise I haven’t checked pitchforkmedia.com in over a month. GASP! I know!!1!!~
