Abstract comics! By Andrei Molotiu. I’ll be speaking at a conference in February, and the art historian who’s running the panel is not only a scholar of the late paintings of Jean-Honoré Fragonard but is also an artist who specializes in a kind of cross-breeding between comic books and abstract art. That’s just as crazy as Michael Fried writing poetry! Oh, wait…nevermind.
